1. Who is responsible

2. Data we process
When you visit, our hosting provider necessarily receives technical request data such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. We also store your privacy choices in your browser.
If you consent to analytics, PostHog may receive a randomly generated visitor identifier, page and referral URLs, device and browser properties, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events. We do not enable session recordings or intentionally send names, email addresses, booking information, or form contents to PostHog.
If you consent to external media, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap and/or Panoee. Those providers receive technical request data, including your IP address, and may apply their own privacy terms.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Delivering and securing the website: our legitimate interests in providing a reliable, secure service.
- Remembering privacy choices: compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in respecting your selection.
- PostHog analytics: your consent.
- Third-party maps and tours: your consent.
You may refuse optional processing without losing access to the site’s core content.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Technical data may be processed by our website hosting provider. With your permission it may also be processed by PostHog, OpenStreetMap, and Panoee. We intend to configure PostHog Cloud in the EU region. Some providers or their subprocessors may process data outside the EEA; where GDPR requires it, transfers must use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Consent choices remain in your browser until you clear them or this notice’s consent version changes. Hosting security logs and PostHog analytics should be retained only for the periods configured by the operator and providers, and no longer than needed for their stated purposes. Analytics deletion requests will be passed to PostHog where applicable.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Contact privacy@citrinehaven.com to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in the EU/EEA country where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
7. Automated decisions and children
We do not use website data to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. This site is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
8. Changes
We may update this notice when services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
